Human Hemoglobin, Mu ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of hemoglobin Mu in human samples. The double-antibody, colorimetric assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 1.875 ng/mL with a working range of 3.125–200 ng/mL. Recovery (n=5) is 90–100% (average 94%) for serum, 88–100% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–103% (average 93%) for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 92–103%, 87–100%, and 88–103% for serum; 83–97%, 88–98%, and 83–100% for EDTA plasma; and 87–99%, 82–98%, and 81–100% for heparin plasma.

The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
