Human Hedgehog Homolog, Sonic (SHH) ELISA Kit

Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) is a 19.7 kDa secreted morphogen that initiates Hedgehog signaling through PTCH1 receptor binding, releasing Smoothened-mediated GLI transcription factor activation. Researchers rely on this Assay Genie kit to quantify endogenous SHH in tissue homogenates and cell lysates, with applications spanning neural tube patterning, limb morphogenesis, adult stem cell maintenance, and Hedgehog-driven malignancies such as basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
