Human Heat shock protein beta-2 (HSPB2) ELISA Kit

HSPB2 is described as a key protein in the cellular stress response, particularly under heat shock and oxidative stress conditions, where it contributes to protecting cells from damage and promoting cell survival. Dysregulation of HSPB2 has been associated with neurodegenerative disorders, cardiac diseases and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human HSPB2 (UniProt Q16082), also known by the synonyms DMPK-binding protein, MKBP and HspB2, and is grouped under the Neurosciences research area. HSPB2 belongs to the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family, may regulate the kinase DMPK, and interacts with DMPK, potentially enhancing its kinase activity. Subcellular localisation is described as cytoplasm and nucleus, with localisation to nuclear foci.
