Human Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 1A (HSPA1A) ELISA Kit

The Human HSPA1A ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of the stress-inducible 70 kDa heat shock protein in human research samples. HSPA1A (also called HSP70-1 or HSP72) is the major inducible member of the HSP70 chaperone family, mapped to the MHC class III region on chromosome 6p21.3, upregulated by thermal, oxidative, and proteotoxic stress, and known for refolding misfolded polypeptides, blocking caspase-dependent apoptosis, and contributing to extracellular immune signaling.

The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody and is widely applied in oncology (where elevated HSPA1A correlates with tumor progression and chemotherapy resistance), neurodegeneration research, cardiovascular injury studies, and exercise physiology investigations of cellular stress responses. Unopened kit components should be stored refrigerated; allow all reagents to reach room temperature before use. The protocol uses 100 µL of sample per well, run in duplicate, and is intended for research use only.
