Human HDL/High-density lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method with TMB substrate and is read at 450 nm after stopping the reaction.

Reported assay performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 ng/mL and a measuring range of 78.125-5000 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported for serum (90-102%, 90-101%, 90-105%), EDTA plasma (82-87%, 83-101%, 84-94%) and heparin plasma (82-98%, 90-100%, 80-97%). Spike-recovery is reported for serum (86-104%, average 97%), EDTA plasma (85-103%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (85-105%, average 95%). The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months and is supplied with a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual.
