Human HCCS/Holocytochrome C Synthase ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Human HCCS (Holocytochrome C Synthase) in human samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a sandwich ELISA format with double antibody, employing a biotin-labeled detection antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with TMB substrate, read at 450 nm. Target synonyms include HCCS, Cytochrome c-type heme lyase, CCHL, and Holocytochrome c-type synthase (Uniprot P53701), and the kit is intended for cell biology research.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, and color development with TMB substrate for 10–20 minutes in the dark, followed by stop solution addition and absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Recovery performance in serum ranges from 88-97% with an average of 93%, in EDTA plasma from 90-101% with an average of 96%, and in heparin plasma from 91-105% with an average of 99%.
