Human HBA1 ELISA Kit (HUFI03973)

Reagent set for quantitative measurement of human hemoglobin subunit alpha 1 in clinical and basic research samples. HBA1 contributes the alpha chain to the adult hemoglobin tetramer (HbA, α2β2), and abnormal expression or copy-number variation at the 16p13.3 locus is implicated in alpha-thalassemia trait, HbH disease, and Hb Bart's hydrops fetalis. The Assay Genie kit is configured to detect circulating or extracted alpha-globin in human serum, supporting studies of erythropoiesis, fetal-to-adult hemoglobin switching, and globin chain imbalance. Each kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and lyophilized standards calibrated for an eight-point standard curve. Sufficient reagents are provided for 96 individual determinations in a single-use plate format. Components should be refrigerated and protected from light until first use, and the kit is intended for research use only.
