Human HAS2 (Hyaluronan synthase 2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Hyaluronan Synthase 2 (HAS2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric TMB substrate read at 450 nm and is intended for research use in cell biology.

HAS2 is the enzyme responsible for synthesising hyaluronic acid, a key component of the extracellular matrix involved in tissue regeneration, wound healing, and inflammation. The kit supports studies of HAS2 dysregulation in diseases such as cancer, arthritis, and fibrosis. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions falls within 80–105% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n = 5), and spike-and-recovery averages are 96% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, dilution and wash buffers, stop solution, and plate sealer, and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
