Human Haptoglobin (Hpt) ELISA Kit

Haptoglobin is an acute-phase glycoprotein circulating in human blood that captures free hemoglobin released during intravascular hemolysis, and circulating concentrations rise sharply in inflammation, infection, trauma, and malignancy while dropping in hemolytic anemia. The Assay Genie Human Haptoglobin (Hpt) ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for research laboratories profiling this biomarker across serum samples, plasma samples, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants.

Intended for research use only, this ELISA supports studies in hematology, inflammation biology, hepatic function research, infectious disease monitoring, and biomarker discovery. Reagents are supplied in vials and a pre-coated microplate sufficient for 96 individual determinations, and the assay is well suited to longitudinal sample profiling and mechanistic investigation of the hemoglobin–haptoglobin clearance pathway mediated by the CD163 receptor on macrophages.
