Human HAL ELISA Kit (HUFI03993)

Histidine Ammonia-Lyase (HAL, EC 4.3.1.3) catalyzes the elimination of ammonia from L-histidine to yield urocanic acid, the first committed step of the histidine catabolic pathway in humans. Quantitative immunoassay of HAL supports investigation of inherited histidinemia, hepatic enzyme expression patterns, and keratinocyte differentiation in dermatological research.

The Assay Genie kit is supplied as a complete pack with pre-coated capture antibody plate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection reagent, concentrated wash buffer, and substrate solution sufficient for one full plate run. Each reaction well receives 100 µL of standard or unknown sample, and the chromogenic endpoint is quantified on a standard plate reader at the wavelength specified in the manual.

Unopened kit components should be stored refrigerated at 4 °C until first use; reconstituted standards and working detection reagent remain stable through limited freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted into single-use vials. The product is intended for research use only and is not validated for clinical diagnostic procedures.
