Human Guanylate-binding protein 4 (GBP4) ELISA Kit

The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is reactive with human GBP4.

The assay offers a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.331 ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 7.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human GBP4. According to the manufacturer, GBP4 binds GTP, GDP and GMP, hydrolyses GTP very efficiently — with GDP rather than GMP as the major reaction product — and plays a role in erythroid differentiation.
