Human Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV3 (VAV3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Linearity is demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and average recovery is 93% (range 87-99) in serum and 95% (range 89-101) in plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human VAV3 and is supplied for research use only, with primary application in cancer research.

VAV3 (UniProt Q9UKW4) is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that activates the GTPases RhoA, RhoG and, to a lesser extent, Rac1. It contributes to angiogenesis, integrin-mediated signaling and osteoclast cytoskeletal organization, and is required for proper wound healing. Dysregulation of VAV3 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders and cardiovascular diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease mechanisms and developing targeted therapies.
