Description

The gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) is a class A G protein-coupled receptor broadly expressed in central nervous system tissue and several peripheral tissues, where it mediates signaling by gastrin-releasing peptide and related bombesin-like ligands. Researchers studying neuropeptide signaling, certain cancer models (including prostate, breast, and lung lines), and inflammation pathways use quantitative GRPR measurement to track receptor expression changes across experimental conditions.

This Assay Genie ELISA kit provides a quantitative immunoassay workflow for measuring human GRPR in clinical specimens. The 96-assay format supports medium-throughput studies and includes the essential reagents, microplate, and buffers required to run the standard curve and samples in parallel. Each kit ships ready-to-use once equilibrated, reducing hands-on setup time for laboratories running receptor-expression screens.

For research use only. Store unopened kits refrigerated at 4 degrees C and bring all components to room temperature before use. Allow frozen samples to thaw completely and mix gently before adding to wells to ensure accurate quantitation. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared aliquots to preserve analyte integrity.
