Human Growth-regulated alpha protein (CXCL1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Growth-regulated alpha protein (CXCL1). It is reactive with human samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Growth-regulated alpha protein, and is suited to immunology research, where CXCL1 is studied as a chemotactic factor for neutrophils and for its role in inflammation.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 43 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.6%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 95%, range 89-101%) and plasma (average 97%, range 91-103%). Dilutional linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry P09341 and is a secreted factor; in vitro, the processed forms GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73), and GRO-alpha(6-73) show a 30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
