Human Growth/differentiation factor 9 (GDF9) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Growth/differentiation factor 9 (GDF9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples.

The kit offers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.2% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Recovery is 96% (90–102%) for serum and 98% (92–104%) for plasma. Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant human GDF9.

GDF9 is a secreted cytokine of the TGF-beta family (UniProt O60383) required for ovarian folliculogenesis, primordial follicle development and granulosa cell proliferation, with roles in fertility and ovarian function. The kit is supplied with a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealer.
