Human Growth arrest-specific protein 1 (GAS1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Growth arrest-specific protein 1 (GAS1). The kit is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance figures supplied by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.19 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 4.5% and inter-assay CV as 7.6%. Recovery averages 96% for serum (range 90–102%) and 98% for plasma (range 92–104%). The antibody pair recognises natural and recombinant human GAS1. GAS1 is described in the datasheet as a specific growth arrest protein involved in growth suppression that prevents entry to S phase and the cycling of normal and transformed cells, with the research area listed as Cancer.
