Human Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD45 gamma (GADD45G) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD45 gamma (GADD45G). The kit is intended for research use only and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, covering natural and recombinant human GADD45G.

The assay has a detection range of 78-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 39.2 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.0% and inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity has been established in serum (91-101%, 89-101%, 96-106%, 100-110% at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16), EDTA plasma (109-117%, 99-108%, 98-108%, 82-92%), and Heparin plasma (102-111%, 91-100%, 95-105%, 103-114%). Recovery in serum averages 83% (range 80-89%) and in plasma averages 85% (range 80-91%).

GADD45G is involved in the regulation of growth and apoptosis, mediating activation of the stress-responsive MTK1/MEKK4 MAPKKK, and is a research focus in cancer. The protein belongs to the GADD45 family, has a molecular weight of 17 kDa, and is encoded by a gene located at chromosomal region 9q22.2.
