GADD45a (Growth Arrest and DNA Damage Inducible Protein Alpha) is an 18 kDa nuclear protein induced by DNA damage, hypoxia, and other cellular stressors; it activates p38 and JNK MAPK signaling, enforces G2/M cell cycle checkpoint control, and modulates apoptotic responses.

The kit accepts tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and similar biological preparations as starting material, and is configured to run on standard microplate instrumentation. Each kit contains reagents for 96 individual determinations supplied in a microplate format with an absorbance-based readout, intended for research use only laboratories.
