Human Granulin ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative detection of Granulin in human samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, offering a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL across a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, the kit supports research applications in cell biology. Granulin (GRN) is a protein involved in cell growth, inflammation, and wound healing, and its dysregulation has been associated with neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and autoimmune disorders, making it a biomarker of interest across multiple research areas.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37 °C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody for a 60-minute incubation, then HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. Colour is developed with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after the stop solution is added. Kit reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.
