Human GR beta/Glucocorticoid Receptor Beta ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of glucocorticoid receptor beta, this sandwich double-antibody ELISA kit from Assay Genie supports research into the regulation of stress responses, immunity, metabolism, and inflammatory processes, where dysregulation of this receptor has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, metabolic syndromes, and neurological conditions.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, and is validated for human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 87-98%, 88-96% and 85-97%; for EDTA plasma 85-104%, 83-98% and 81-98%; for heparin plasma 89-101%, 83-100% and 89-96%. Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 91-105%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 88-105%), and 96% for heparin plasma (range 86-103%). The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
