Human GR alpha/Glucocorticoid Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

The glucocorticoid receptor alpha is a key regulator of gene expression in response to glucocorticoid hormones, which are involved in immune response, metabolism, and stress regulation. Dysregulation of GR Alpha signaling has been implicated in inflammatory disorders, autoimmune conditions, and mental health disorders, making it a valuable target for research.

The assay uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with components stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The standard protocol involves equilibration of reagents, sequential incubation with biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
