The COP9 signalosome (CSN) is a multiprotein regulator of cullin-RING ligase activity, and GPS1 (also called CSN1) sits at its core as the largest scaffold subunit. This Assay Genie kit is a human-specific assay that enables researchers to quantify GPS1 in human circulatory specimens, supporting studies of proteasome signaling, NF-κB pathway modulation, and cullin deneddylation.

The microplate-based immunoassay is supplied as a complete kit with pre-coated wells, assay diluent, wash buffer, recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, and TMB substrate. Reconstituted components should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 degrees C for long-term stability; working dilutions may be refrigerated for one week of repeated use.

For research use only, the kit supports investigations of CSN-dependent signaling in cancer biology, immunology, and neurodegeneration, where GPS1 expression has been linked to altered proteasome function and cellular stress responses. Each kit contains sufficient reagents for a full microplate run with appropriate standard and sample replicates.
