Human GPR83 ELISA Kit (HUFI04051)

The Human GPR83 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of GPR83, also referred to in the literature as the orphan G protein-coupled receptor GPR72. GPR83 is expressed in the central nervous system, including the hypothalamus, hippocampus, and striatum, and has been investigated in studies of appetite regulation, anxiety-related behavior, and T lymphocyte signaling pathways. The receptor has also drawn interest in metabolic and obesity research because its endogenous ligand PEN has been linked to energy homeostasis.

The kit provides a complete set of reagents, including a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, concentrated wash buffer, TMB substrate solution, and stop reagent. A standard protocol loads 100 µL of prepared sample into each well, runs the assay following the included protocol, and reads absorbance to interpolate sample concentrations from the standard curve. Reagents are supplied in individually sealed vials to preserve antibody and enzyme activity across the shelf life of the product.
