GPR65, also referred to as TDAG8, is a proton-sensing G protein-coupled receptor that functions as the psychosine receptor and modulates intracellular cAMP signaling in response to extracellular acidosis. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is intended for research use only and supports measurement of human GPR65 in laboratory specimens relevant to immunological and pharmacological studies.
The 96 Assays format supplies enough reagents for screening cohorts in projects that probe lysophospholipid signaling, psychosine-mediated pathways, and acid-sensing mechanisms in immune cell populations. Established research areas where this receptor is implicated include inflammatory bowel disease susceptibility, T-cell apoptosis regulation, microglial function in neuroinflammation, and signaling within certain lymphoma cell lines.
The workflow accommodates standard plate-based reading protocols and is appropriate for studies examining sphingolipid metabolism or the broader TDAG8 signaling axis in translational research programs. Cell culture supernatant analysis is supported alongside human serum and EDTA plasma-derived matrices, giving investigators flexibility across experimental designs.
