The GPR43 target, also designated Free Fatty Acid Receptor 2 (FFAR2), is a G protein-coupled receptor that responds to short-chain fatty acids such as acetate, propionate, and butyrate produced by gut microbial fermentation. Assay Genie supplies this panel to support research into host-microbe metabolic crosstalk, adipocyte signaling, and inflammatory leukocyte responses. Reagents should remain refrigerated at 4°C prior to first use and equilibrated to room temperature before each run. Intended for research use only.
