GPKOW (G Patch Domain And KOW Motifs) is an RNA-binding nuclear protein that functions as a component of the spliceosome and has been associated with X-linked intellectual disability. This Assay Genie immunoassay is configured for quantitative measurement of human GPKOW in blood-derived samples. Applications include in vitro studies of pre-mRNA splicing, spliceosome assembly kinetics, and PRP8 (PRPF8) interaction mapping. Each well accommodates a 100 uL sample volume; standard and sample diluents should be brought to room temperature before use, and the kit components are stored at 4°C.
