Description

From Assay Genie, this human GPCR LGR7 (Relaxin R1) ELISA kit is a sandwich double-antibody assay designed for the precise quantitative measurement of relaxin R1 levels in human biological samples. It is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method, making it suitable for signal transduction research. The kit supports sample types including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Relaxin R1 is a G-protein coupled receptor involved in the regulation of relaxin hormone signaling and plays a critical role in reproductive functions, cardiovascular health, and inflammation, making it a valuable biomarker for related research. The assay offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL with a measurable range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, ranging overall from 82% to 104%, and recovery falls between 86% and 105% across the same sample types (with averages of 90% for serum, 100% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma).

The double-antibody sandwich workflow follows a standard protocol: equilibrate reagents, incubate samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, add a biotin-labeled detection antibody for 60 minutes, bind HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, then stop the reaction and read absorbance at 450 nm. Provided kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual. Synonyms for the target include RXFP1, LGR7, leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 7 and Relaxin family peptide receptor 1 (UniProt Q9HBX9).
