Human GnRH/Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone ELISA Kit

This competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) in human samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a competitive ELISA format coated with antigen and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a measuring range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. It should be stored sealed at 2–8°C and not cryopreserved. Recovery has been validated in serum (88–104%, average 96%), EDTA plasma (92–100%, average 95%), and heparin plasma (90–105%, average 95%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions has been demonstrated in serum (92–100%, 88–105%, 90–98%), EDTA plasma (86–99%, 90–101%, 87–96%), and heparin plasma (84–100%, 83–94%, 82–94%).

The protocol uses a biotin-labelled antibody with HRP-streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. The kit is intended for research into reproductive biology, including studies of infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and hormonal imbalances, given GnRH's role in regulating luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) release.
