Human Glypican-3 (GPC3) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Glypican-3 (GPC3) in human samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is for research use only. GPC3 plays a significant role in cell growth, development and differentiation, and abnormal levels have been associated with cancers including liver cancer and lung cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for oncology research.

Performance characteristics quoted from the manufacturer's data sheet include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.045 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Dilutional linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and spike-recovery testing in serum and plasma supports reliable quantification. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human Glypican-3 (UniProt P51654; synonyms GTR2-2, Intestinal protein OCI-5, MXR7, OCI5).
