Description
A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Glypican-2 (GPC2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay reacts with natural and recombinant human Glypican-2 and is intended for research use only.
Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.2% and inter-assay CV is 9.8%. Recovery in serum averages 104% (range 98-110%) and in plasma averages 106% (range 100-112%).
GPC2 is a cell surface proteoglycan that bears heparan sulfate and may fulfill a function related to the motile behaviors of developing neurons.
