Human Glypican 1/ GPC1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Glypican-1 (GPC1), a cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycan involved in cell growth, differentiation, and development. Using a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format, the kit is suited to research into Glypican-1 dysregulation in conditions including cancer, Alzheimer's, and diabetes.

Validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The assay offers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Spiked-sample recovery averaged 95% in serum (range 88–101%), 98% in EDTA plasma (range 92–104%), and 97% in heparin plasma (range 85–104%), with linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of each matrix.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubating standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labelled detection antibody at 37°C for 60 minutes, incubating with HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing colour in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and then adding stop solution and reading absorbance at 450 nm.
