Human Glycosaminoglycan xylosylkinase/FAM20B ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is configured in a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human Glycosaminoglycan xylosylkinase (FAM20B). The assay is reactive with human samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following the addition of TMB substrate and stop solution.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been characterised at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in serum (85–105%, 89–102%, 85–103%), EDTA plasma (87–90%, 84–96%, 91–96%) and heparin plasma (86–95%, 80–100%, 82–99%). Recovery has been validated with average values of 96% in serum (range 87–102%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 86–102%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 87–98%). FAM20B is a key enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans, components of the extracellular matrix, and is also known by synonyms including xylose kinase, gxk1 and XYLK. The protein is referenced under UniProt O75063.

All kit components should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months.
