Human Glycoprotein hormones alpha chain (CGA) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Glycoprotein hormones alpha chain (CGA). The assay shows reactivity with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method. It is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

CGA is the shared alpha chain of the active heterodimeric glycoprotein hormones thyrotropin/thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), lutropin/luteinizing hormone (LH), follitropin/follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and choriogonadotropin (CG). These hormones bind specific receptors on target cells that in turn activate downstream signaling pathways. The kit has a detection range of 3.75-240mIU/mL with a sensitivity of 1.4mIU/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 4.9% and an Inter CV of 8.9%. Specificity has been confirmed against natural and recombinant human Glycoprotein hormones alpha chain.
