Human Glycoprotein 5/CD42d ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Glycoprotein 5/CD42d in human samples. The double-antibody format uses a pre-coated capture antibody and a biotin-conjugated detection antibody, with signal developed using HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Quoted performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions is 85–104% / 87–96% / 94–105% for serum (n=5), 87–101% / 82–100% / 83–98% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80–98% / 80–97% / 81–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-recovery ranges and averages are reported as 88–104% (96%) for serum, 87–100% (92%) for EDTA plasma, and 89–101% (97%) for heparin plasma.
