Human Glycerol-3-Phosphate Acyltransferase, Mitochondrial (GPAM) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie human GPAM ELISA is a quantitative immunoassay built around a mitochondrial glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase target, the outer-membrane enzyme that catalyzes the first committed step of glycerolipid and triacylglycerol biosynthesis by esterifying glycerol-3-phosphate with long-chain acyl-CoA. The kit is configured for human research samples, including cell lysates and tissue homogenates prepared from tissues where GPAM is most strongly expressed, such as liver, skeletal muscle, and adipose depots. By measuring GPAM protein abundance, the assay supports studies of hepatic lipid handling, adipocyte differentiation, and metabolic disease models that connect mitochondrial acyltransferase activity to steatosis, insulin resistance, and obesity phenotypes.
