Human Glutathione S-transferase A4 (GSTA4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich-format immunoassay measures Glutathione S-transferase A4 (GSTA4) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, with colorimetric detection and specificity for natural and recombinant human GSTA4.

The assay has a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.195 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 7.3% and inter-assay CV of 10.8%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 88–98% to 86–98% in serum, 96–108% to 92–103% in EDTA plasma, and 101–111% to 108–117% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma.

GSTA4 catalyses conjugation of reduced glutathione to hydrophobic electrophiles, with high efficiency toward 4-hydroxyalkenals such as 4-hydroxynonenal. The enzyme is a cytoplasmic homodimer encoded at chromosome 6p12.1 within the alpha class of the GST superfamily. The kit includes a microplate, lyophilised standard, diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at the temperatures specified in the kit insert.
