Human Glutathione Peroxidase 3, Plasma (GPX3) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie supports measurement of human plasma glutathione peroxidase 3 (GPX3) in translational and basic research. GPX3 is the principal extracellular selenoprotein responsible for reducing hydrogen peroxide and organic hydroperoxides in the circulatory compartment. It is synthesized largely by renal proximal tubule epithelial cells, and circulating GPX3 concentrations are routinely used by investigators studying redox biology, atherosclerosis, cancer progression, sepsis, and renal dysfunction.

The kit ships as a complete set of reagents, standards, and a microplate sufficient for 96 assays. Compatible specimens include heparinized plasma, EDTA plasma, and serum samples, allowing flexibility across clinical cohorts and animal model studies. Standard curves are generated in-well and absorbance is read on a conventional plate reader. Reconstituted components remain stable when stored refrigerated; for longer intervals, freeze-thaw cycles should be minimized to preserve antigen binding activity. Intended for research use only.
