Human Glutathione Peroxidase 3/GPX3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Glutathione Peroxidase 3 (GPX3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The double-antibody format delivers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, with components stable at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Reagents supplied include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer, stop solution, and plate sealer. The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin binding, TMB colour development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.

GPX3 is an important antioxidant enzyme (Uniprot P22352) that plays a key role in protecting cells from oxidative damage. Low GPX3 levels have been associated with cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders, supporting the kit's relevance for cell biology research into GPX3 in human samples. Linearity and recovery performance have been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
