Human Glutaredoxin-3 (GLRX3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Glutaredoxin-3 (GLRX3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human GLRX3 and is reported to deliver a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL.

Reported performance characteristics include an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with serum recovery averaging 101% (range 95–107%) and plasma recovery averaging 103% (range 97–109%). GLRX3 is a glutaredoxin-family oxidoreductase involved in cell redox homeostasis, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease, supporting its use as a biomarker in those research areas.
