Manufactured by Assay Genie, this high-quality Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of Human Glutamyl aminopeptidase (ENPEP) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. ENPEP — also known as Aminopeptidase A, AP-A, Differentiation antigen gp160, CD249, or EAP — is a homodimeric, disulfide-linked single-pass type II membrane protein that belongs to the peptidase M1 family (UniProt Q07075, molecular weight 109,244 Da). The enzyme has been implicated in the catabolic pathway of the renin-angiotensin system and in the growth and differentiation of early B-lineage cells.

The assay uses a colorimetric readout, with a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.315 ng/ml. Specificity is reported for both natural and recombinant human Glutamyl aminopeptidase. Published linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions show recoveries of 93–104%, 115–127%, 100–110% and 81–91% for serum (N=5); 106–116%, 105–114%, 105–115% and 111–120% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 86–86%, 95–106%, 85–95% and 105–114% for heparin plasma (N=5).
