Human Glutaminase kidney isoform, mitochondrial (GLS) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Glutaminase kidney isoform, mitochondrial (GLS) in samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with natural and recombinant human GLS and is for research use only.

Manufacturer-reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3%, and an inter-assay CV of 6.5%. Recovery averages 95% for serum (range 89-101%) and 97% for plasma (range 91-103%). Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (N=5).

GLS (UniProt O94925) is a phosphate-activated amidohydrolase that catalyses the first step in renal glutamine catabolism, supports acid-base homeostasis, and regulates brain glutamate levels.
