Human Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, N-Methyl-D-Aspartate 2B (GRIN2B) ELISA Kit

Targeting the NR2B subunit of the human NMDA receptor, this Assay Genie kit enables quantitative protein-level measurement of GRIN2B in research sample types including tissue homogenates and cell lysates. The GRIN2B gene encodes a ligand-gated ion channel subunit that contributes to excitatory synaptic transmission, long-term potentiation, and developmental plasticity of the central nervous system. Altered NR2B expression has been associated in published studies with epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, ischemic stroke injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders, which is why reliable quantification is frequently needed in neuroscience, neuropharmacology, and biomarker discovery workflows.
