GRIP1 (Glutamate Receptor Interacting Protein 1) is a multi-PDZ domain scaffolding protein that anchors AMPA-type glutamate receptors and selected signaling partners at excitatory synapses. Researchers in neuroscience and hepatology rely on this Assay Genie microplate ELISA to quantify GRIP1 levels in tissue homogenates and cell lysates.
The kit supports investigations into synaptic plasticity, AMPA receptor trafficking, and the emerging role of GRIP1 in hepatic glucose homeostasis and hepatocellular carcinoma progression.
The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity with analogous rodent isoforms. Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival; the microplate is for research use only.
