Human Glutamate dehydrogenase 1, mitochondrial (GLUD1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of human Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1 (GLUD1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is designed for human samples, recognising both natural and recombinant human GLUD1 with high sensitivity and specificity.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.07ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.1% and inter-assay CV is 6.5%. Linearity has been validated across serum (92-119% at 1:2-1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (96-120%) and heparin plasma (93-114%). Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (average 89%, range 83-95%) and plasma (average 91%, range 85-97%).

GLUD1 is a mitochondrial matrix enzyme that catalyses the oxidative deamination of L-glutamate to alpha-ketoglutarate, an intermediate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle. The kit is supplied for research use only and is intended for cell biology applications (UniProt P00367).
