Human Glutamate decarboxylase 2 (GAD2) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human specimens and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for both natural and recombinant human GAD2.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.24ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.6% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Recovery testing shows an average of 102% (range 96-108%) in serum and 104% (range 98-110%) in plasma. The target protein (UniProt Q05329) is a homodimer that catalyzes the production of GABA.
