Human GLUT4/Glucose Transporter 4 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is configured in a Double Antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human Glucose Transporter 4 (GLUT4), also known as SLC2A4 — an insulin-responsive facilitator of glucose uptake that is particularly important in muscle and fat tissues. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been reported in serum at 85–96% (1:2), 86–101% (1:4) and 80–88% (1:8), with comparable values in EDTA and heparin plasma, and recovery averages of 92% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 98% for heparin plasma. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
