Human Glucosylceramidase (GBA) ELISA Kit

The kit has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.11ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and inter-assay CV of 8.8%.

Glucosylceramidase is a lysosomal enzyme involved in the breakdown of glucosylceramide, and mutations in the GBA gene have been linked to Gaucher disease as well as susceptibility to Parkinson disease. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to studies in cardiovascular research, lysosomal storage disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and lipid metabolism. Also known as Acid beta-glucosidase, Beta-glucocerebrosidase, Lysosomal acid GCase, and Imiglucerase, the target is natural and recombinant human lysosomal acid glucosylceramidase (UniProt P04062).

Recovery data show serum at an average of 106% (range 100-112%) and plasma at an average of 108% (range 102-114%). Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
