Human Glucose Oxidase (GOD) ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables measurement of Glucose Oxidase (GOD) enzyme levels in human-derived research samples. Glucose Oxidase is a homodimeric flavoprotein (EC 1.1.3.4) containing tightly bound FAD cofactors in each subunit, and catalyzes the oxidation of β-D-glucose to D-glucono-δ-lactone while reducing molecular oxygen to hydrogen peroxide.

The plate is pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, allowing selective detection of endogenous human GOD over microbial or fungal homologs commonly encountered in food industry and biosensor applications. Reconstitute the lyophilized standard in the provided diluent, aliquot immediately, and store at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw loss of immunoreactivity. Allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before each run.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution sufficient for 96 individual determinations.
