Human Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP1R) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP1R) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric method. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human GLP1R and has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL.

Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16), and recovery in serum averages 101% (95–107%) while plasma averages 103% (97–109%).

GLP1R is a G-protein coupled receptor that binds glucagon-like peptide 1 and signals through G proteins to activate adenylyl cyclase; it may form homodimers or heterodimers with GIPR and resides at the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein. Researchers use the kit to study GLP1R in the context of diabetes, metabolic disorders and related cardiovascular research.
