Human Glucagon ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this ELISA kit supports quantitative measurement of Human Glucagon in research samples. The assay uses a sandwich double-antibody ELISA detection method: a capture antibody pre-coated onto the microplate binds the target analyte, a biotinylated detection antibody forms a sandwich complex, and HRP-conjugated Streptavidin with TMB substrate generates a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit reports a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 88–105%, 87–100% and 81–100%, respectively; EDTA plasma yields 86–102%, 87–100% and 82–100%, and heparin plasma yields 87–104%, 86–100% and 80–98%. Mean recovery is 95% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 91% for heparin plasma. The assay is reactive with human samples.

Storage conditions are 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
